water logged

Hi folks,

Sorry for the late entry. It was a busy day with Dennis yesterday.

Dennis is retaining fluid in his abdomen and legs. His weight and girth has greatly increased over the past couple of days. His heart seems to be the underlying issue to his water retention. He is tired and having difficulty breathing which has hampered his therapy progress. He will not be discharged today. They have re-slated him for discharge next week.

Dennis will not be coming to Canada on discharge. He will require extensive in-home therapy and will be staying in Renton with our mom.

Big hugs Dennis. We're all rooting for you and you'll be home soon. I know it's frustrating, all these curve balls, but God is keeping such a close eye on you!

Heh Dennis, that - water loggged -sounds uncomfortable! Probably good youre still there for this minor? correction. It seems like the battles are getting smaller and smaller over time from a medical perspective. Your body continues to recover for you - that is so great and to us it is a great blessing!!! You are a very strong player in this big event!! May God continue to bless you with all good things!!! Jeff n

Good Morning Dennis! I hope you had a good nights rest. It is a bit rainy out today. Seems like the clouds makes it get light later in the morning and darker ealier at night. But while that is going on your body continues to get stronger and stronger as you recover and heal. Each day seems brighter and brighter as you become more and more able to gain footing on restoring the life you want. We all look forward to all the best for you!! May God continue to bless you richly in all good things!!! jeff n
