it's not a pulmonary embolism

Dennis has undergone some further testing and it appears that he did not have a pulmonary embolism. His chest x-ray is abnormal and they are wondering whether pneumonia was the cause of his respiratory arrest which lead to his cardiac arrest. He is very slowly starting to awake but they are uncertain if he has any neurological damage. His kidneys are failing and he has produced minimal urine since yesterday evening. The health care team are baffled and state they may never truly find the reason behind his arrest. Thank you for your continued prayers and support. We leave Dennis in God's gracious hands.

Dennis, I miss your laughter, our conversations and your teachings. I have admired you for your strength through all of this and how you would encourage me with my health. Now I need you to get well so that you can help me... because for some reason I can not get my comments to blog on here!! You are the whiz with this stuff!!

You and your family are constantly on my mind. Prayers daily to all of you knowing that God's hand is in all of this. I miss you!

Thanks again for the updates, Eun. We're continuing to pray a lot for Den and you guys -- that at each step that God's strength & peace would be with you, that His love & presence would accompany you and give comfort. And we pray for all the medical staff who are helping Den. Bless you...

Dennis, we are all pulling for you in this up and down and up ride. We know it takes courage and hope and strength but you are leading us through this as we follow along behind you. Each day is new and every moment counts. We are with you! We look forward to seeing you soon once the doctors say we can visit! from Jeff N

In our prayer sessions last night and this morning, we have had some wonderful words & images that Jesus is caring for you and for your family. When we say "stay strong" we mean to keep getting strength from God because He is pouring it freely over you.

In my thoughts and my prayers, you and those around you, me and those around me, all depending on hope and God and on your fight that inspires so many.
Keep fighting cause we won't stop praying.

I've checked this blog probably 20 times today...hoping and praying for good news. You are in my thoughts and prayers each and every moment.
Like I said before....because of you....I am a happy girl today and will be again tomorrow, and the next day and the next day and the next.

All because you had faith in me.

Thank you Dennis...so very much

Thank you as always for keeping us all updated. It breaks my heart to find that he's taken such a turn, but I know God is watching over him. I will continue to pray for him, and for you all as well.

God bless,

Laura
