Sorry it's been a couple of days since I've written but yesterday was a difficult day and I found it hard to write anything positive so, I didn't write at all.
Dennis started to have a major bleed yesterday and with all the tests and waiting, it was just about getting the best of us. Although they preformed many tests, they were unable to locate the site of the bleed. He was promised with extubation yesterday and he was disappointed when they decided not to. It was a very emotional day for Dennis and we just held him as he cried. All we could do was cry with him. He also frequently displayed his displeasure in having his breathing tube in. Dennis is very alert and when he wasn't getting poked and prodded, he was watching the Olympics. I think it's the only thing that is keeping him sane.
Well, today is a new day and as we speak, they are scoping him to locate the bleed. There's still a possibility that he may need abdominal surgery. We should find out later today. They have promised him extubation again after this procedure so, we will see if it actually becomes a reality.

Oh Eun,
I am sending you guys the biggest hugs and saying tons of prayers.
One day at a time. I fully believe that God's going to get him through this and we'll have the Dennis we know and love back soon. :)
Is there any update on his neurological status after the cardiac arrests?
I know he's in no place for visitors, but if he's awake and alert, could you please tell him Laura (from Comcast) says hello?

Our God is good and He will take care of Dennis as He already showed us many many times. no doubt there. :) thank goodness we have the olympics! and the american team are doing great too. :)

thanks Eunice for your strength and courage.. we all appreciate what you give of yourself to write to keep everyone in the loop day in, day out. i am so inspired that Dennis is watching the Olympics, and am so grateful that he is alert and seeing people on TV in their own personal battles.. overcoming adversity and taking things one... at a time...

Thank you so much Eunice for updating the Blog! It is so good to hear from you! I am thankful that the Olympics provide a bit of distraction. It is so good to hear that Dennis is awake and able to communicate to some degree even with all the "connections". We continue to seek God and cheer for your recovery!!! Jeff N
I guess we should just be grateful for the timing of the Olympics and Dennis' recover rate at this point. It will probably help him recover to focus on other's stuggle for victory.
