Hi folks,
Den had another great day. He was up in a chair for 5 hours and although tired, managed well. He was able to stand on his feet today but was not able to move them. It is still very difficult to understand what Dennis is saying but with each day, he is getting stronger. He is to rest his voice but work on his exercises, so the nurses and therapist are constantly on him. He is under close observation and will remain in the ICU for a few more days.
We are not accepting visitors yet but as soon as we do, we will let you know. For now, it's all about therapy and rest.

Sounds like he's finally on his road to recovery. thats wonderful! will keep on praying for steady and fast recovery. he's very blessed to have his family close by to cheer him on. too bad i can't be there to witness him improving day by day. but be sure to tell him he's missed and prayed for, all the way from sacramento. :) thank you again eunice for your updates. its greatly appreciated beyond words. :)

So happy to see your progress and enjoyed the pictures. I think you need to keep the beard or at least a goatee when you return to work. Stay strong and looking forward to your continued progress.

Dennis, We are back to rainy weather. It is kind of cozy to stay inside and know that you are dry and warm! We have had so many dry days I think I am spoiled! In Yakima this weekend it was over 100 and plenty of dust for tent camping! Hope you are doing well, resting and healing. Your voice will improve! Communication will be easier. Take Courage!!! Jeff N
